Never heard of these before but just came across them on the DT website:

I guess it's a 10mm round with a lead ball stuffed right behind the bullet. 1 shot, 1 kill, 2 holes

Anybody ever used these? Novelty or practical tactical?

hmmm....

As long as the ball is consistant in landing close to the JHP, I don't see why not to use it.

Though I would worry that the ball would deform against the JHP and then do some kind of funky curve.

Good penetration with the ball, not so much with the bullet, however it appears the combined volume of the wound channels is greater than any other round by itself (just a guess, hard to say without seeing the gelatin).
