I just got back from my cruise in the western Caribbean.  It was a lot of fun and only got sea sick when I was snorkling in Cozumel. Food was mediocre.  Service was great.  Not even my mom would fold my dirty underwear and stack in my closet.

About 25-35 miles from Cuba.  You cant really see in this pic. But in real life you could make out Cuban mountains and shoreline.

Cozumels port was pretty devastated.  Concrete was blown to smitterines.  Tells you how strong the winds and waters were during the storm.  Emily lasted about 4 hours. Wilma about 60hours.

Bahamian flag on our boat.  Enchantment of the Seas, Royal Caribbean.

Some solar radiation victims on deck.

There was one kid that got so drunk he stumbled into the crew quarters.  He was told if he ever came back he would be escorted off the ship.  He went back to his cabin his head against a bulkhead bled all over the place.  Then he passed out in of his friends cabins.  He kept asking if he did anything really rude the next morning.  He didnt remember how he got the gash in his head.

This week was supposed to be even worse.  High School spring breakers were coming in droves this week.   No gambling, no going to the shows or other activities.  Drinking, puking and fucking is all they did.  So said the crew members.  Sounds like fun when I was 18.

You would by chance have 50,000 Marines on board with you?

How many nights did you go for?  What were your other ports of call?

I just spent 7 nights in the western carribbean I actually went right by that same spot in Cozumel (I got hammered in Mexico)  Come to think of it I don't remember a whole lot from Jamaica either Sounds like you had fun though,

Do you mind if I ask how much the cruise ended up costing?

No, my GF made me leave my EPIRM at home.  My gasmasks were also left out.

The only thing that I really needed was some rest.  I got up earlier then back home!  We would get into port at 7-8 am. So we would get up shower, get dressed and eat before we disembarked.

We had to tender ashore in Cozumel because the docks were shredded.  It was interesting that the Mexicans want to come here.  Because they bascially used US dollars and was the preferred currency.   Everything was basically made to cater to Americans so it wasnt that far off from any American port town down south.

We did go to the southern most point of the US.  90 miles from Cuba.

Hemingways house was a bust.  For $11 a person, the fucker should have been there.

5 days and 4 nights.

Ft Lauderdale
KeyWest
Cozumel
At sea
Ft Lauderdale

We had a larger inside cabin.  $350 per person and $300 in airfare person.
Drinks were all extra except water, lemonade and tea.  I spent about $500 ib board for drinks and soveniers and booze bottles.

Also you cant beat, Captain Morgan liters for $10.99 a bottle and Crown Royal 2 for $36.

I brought several bottles back as gifts.  You are allowed $1000 in duty free stuff.  You could even buy a case.  Depending on the mood of the Customs guy, you could end up paying duty or just waved by.

Wow, $11 for that tour?  You should have taken one of those 6 toed cats for that price
Last time I was there it was $4... but that was awhile ago.
Did you hangout at Mallory Docks at sun set and get drunk?

We went to Sloppy Joes and a couple. Went to Irish Kevins had a few more.  Sang with the guy playing guitar there.  Really funny guy.  Kept saying Bullshit.

We hit a few more bars then went to ship and ate dinner and we were off to Cozumel.  Only got about 6 hours there.

What's that "grill/wing" looking thing?

Looks like there's a 3-some going on there.

The Enchantment of the Seas got a 70-80 foot section added in the middle of the ship. That gull wing is for decoration and comprises the new section.  There are bars underneath the walkway.
