This is so rampant and widespread, it is almost commonplace.
Most people in Chicago know where to turn their EBT into cash. Only when there is big money running through one guy or establishment do they even pretend to care, let alone do anything about it. |

What they should do is show all of them on tv, then repo some stuff. Big screen tv's, fancy rims.. etc. Make the message simple. You cheat the system, we take your stuff.

I worked directly in the ghetto for a while and witnessed able bodied people daily receiving .gov money. I really wish more people would realize that close to HALF of the people getting help do not deserve it. They literally CHOOSE not to work. You hit the nail on the head with "generations". These people have kids and from day 1 the kids are raised with the idea that money comes from the .gov so just relax and party. |

The recipients arrested are charged with misuse of food stamps and petit larceny, misdemeanors, for each alleged fraudulent transaction. Police say more arrests or civil penalties are possible. Good. But i'll bet they will still get EBT after they get out of jail. |

How many more scams like this are going on? I mean how often do you get hassled by FSA for cash if they buy groceries?
The smart thing to do, would be to ban them from ever getting food stamps again, or any other form of gov't assistance, time to get jobs ass holes. |
