When scientist 2000 years from now research events of this time, what will they find? If they believe everything they find, they will think missles hit the pentagon, the moon landing was a hoax, and President Bush and the Pope were natzi's. Just because something wqas written down doesnt mean it happened that way. We can't get people to agree on events that happened 3 years ago and have strong physical proof. What makes you think we can believe what happened 2000 years ago when events didnt even get written down but passed by word of mouth for years until someone finally wrote them all down.

But there will be something left that may persuade archeologists to understand that what may have been written was not correct, or was slanted to portray something that was not a fact.

There should still be debris left on the Moon, even after 2,000 years.

The fact that there would be relics of US troops still left in Afghanistan and Iraq might convince them that something happened between those nations that required the US troops to be sent halfway around the earth.

very good point. history is being rewritten on a daily basis. It's being toned down or outright lost to make people FEEL better about themselves. It's all bullshit.

Humans are nasty animals that do nasty things. denying the ast will allow worse things to happen in the future.

the scary thing is archeologist of the future will find a few thousand skeletons in computer chairs with images of arfcom burned into long dead monitors.
