Got an 83.97%.  Not perfect or what I had hoped to get, but I passed, and that's the most important thing.  Hopefully I knock them dead in the interview.  Only thing I don't have going for me is experience or certifications.

If you don't get picked up this time, try again for the next hire cycle. At some point we all started out with no experience. If they see you keep coming back that should send the message that you want it.

I'm in about the same boat for going full-time except I've been one of the volunteers for the last 4 years (cadet first, now a reserve). That's an option for you too. Might want to see if there is a reserve program you can get into in order to get your foot in the door.

I tested for the Volunteer Program as well, so if anything, hopefully I get picked up on that, and that will pay for my certs.

you got your results back fast I took mine 3 weeks ago and I still do not know what i got???

It was through Public Safety Testing--they graded it the same day, while I was there
