I have a chance to get my mom's old ct90. My older brother has it and we got it running about 5 years ago. It needs alot of cleaning up.

Where can I find a manual, or, do any of you guys know anything about these old bikes.

I had a ct70 many years ago and it seemed like it was all about points, magneto and carb.

I would hit ebay and do some searching. I restored an old Suzuki TS125 a few years ago and bought everything that I couldn't get at the dealer from ebay I was even able to find a new rear metal fender.
Good luck.

If this is the same as the UK C50/70/90 then there's loads of spares over here

If its the same as the CT-70,hell the Chineese did a helluva bang-up job copying it. I believe they also make the CT-90 also(along with the QA/Z-50),and the smaller bikes of Honda(up to a 250cc).

My first bike was a Honda CT 90.

Those things are damn near indestrucable.

If it's been sitting for a long time there's a few things you'll want to do first:

Drain the fuel from the tank.
Remove the carburetor and clean it thoroughly, especially the pilot jet circuit.
Replace the spark plug.
Inspect, clean, and adjust (or replace) the ignition points.
Replace the air filter.
Inspect, add water and recharge the battery. (should be a 6volt system)

If you do all the work yourself, you should only spend about forty bucks in parts. If the battery is wasted, add another forty for a battery.

Those little bikes are a blast and are great little camping scoots.
