Just want 7 or 8 rounders, no bumers, standard military type. Where can I get good/reliable mags at a good price?

Shooting Star (Chip McCormick) mags are often available at reasonable prices. I like them better than Wilson's, because I have had the plastic bases break off several of my Wilson's.

I like Colt OEM mags. Check Gunbroker. I'll have to look at my email for his user name but I was buying them in groups of 5 or 10 for 7 dollars apiece last year.

ETA: This is the guy I was buying from, Prices arent as cheap as they were....But still not that bad for decent mags IMO. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/SellerAuctions.asp?User=775757

Metalform makes some very good magazines.

Yep. I use Metalform part# 45-273. It's a 7rd mag, with JMB's follower, and a nice, removable, locking floor plate. They never fail me.

Wilson #11, the standard all others are compared to, and come up short.

Chip McCormick
Wilson Combat

I have some of each... With Metalform you can order any sort of combination of parts. Wilsons are pricey but the warranty is hard to beat. CMCs are easy to find at most of the local fun stores for reasonable prices.
