I scored an 8-gun safe from Academy for 69.99....Holds a Garand, assorted 5.56, 7.62 russian, and 3006 ammo, and in 24 hours, a Chinese SKS.

I remember this morbidy obese lady wearing a dress as big around as a circus tent that tried to shoplift a widescreen tv...she stuck it between her legs and underneath the dress....

Wal-Mart Sentry safes are a great value (I have one myself).

However, I suspect there is a difference between at least some Wal-Mart Sentry safes and regular Sentry safes as listed on Sentry’s website.

In particular, I notice the combination lock on my safe is incredibly crude by just about any standard.

I suspect that explains at least part of the price difference.

It’s still a great safe for the price!!

Which one? I normally avoid that store, but that's a hell of a deal! Were there any more left?

EDIT: Mistake on my part.

I got a 14-gun Sentinel safe (more like locker) from WM for $122.

Not the greatest thing, and it can be carted off it someone wishes to do so (albeit with back pain the next day), it will keep idiots and kids from getting access to your firearms.
