What was the deal with Uncle Sirus? Was he really dead and a zombie or did he fake it? He wasn't a ghost because he could be seen without the glasses.

He may have faked his death, but that newspaper article said he died like 6 weeks before those people got the house. Why would he be running around covered in fake blood and messed up clothes the whole time?

Cause he was trying to seem like a ghost.  He got busted by them NOT wearing the glasses like he expected them too.
