Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 11.5" Pre-Ban Upper??

I have a complete Colt pre-ban SP1.  I want to put a "Commando" style pre-ban upper on it with a 11.5" barrel.  I know I have to do the tax stamp (SBR) thing with the ATF, but are there any other legalities that would prevent me from doing this?

The only thing you may have to contend with besides the NFA regulations would be any state, or local regulations pertaining such a rifle.
