A friend of mine is in the 101st, currently in Iraq.  In his last email home, about two weeks ago, he said they're packing up the ammo to start sending back home but they were told they may be there as late as December (maybe).  He's 13 bravo, but he's been on the front carrying an M4 since the "official" end of hostilities.  I'm just wondering, in his brief email, was he mostly likely talking about artillery ammo (I thought he'd refer to that as ordinance rather than ammo) or is our army actually packing up the ammo?
