What is a burpee?   Is it the gas you get after you drink a Slurpee too fast?

Burpee is the seed company I get my 'mater seeds from.

It's also a way to torture your body, as seen in this nifty video: Burpee

I hate blurpees, but I'm in.

ETA, I'll see your blurpee and raise you a pull up.  In true arfcom fashion...do both.

You don't have to do them in a row, just through the course of the day

The last couple weeks would probably suck though, but think of the "turtle shell" you would develop.

This is bs. No way is this a way to get your body in any sort of well conditioned shape other than to be able to do more burpee's.

Anyone even heard of P90X? Sprints? cardio?

I'm afraid I don't concur.
Perhaps you sould stick to pilates untill you're ready.

Burpees are about THE best all around conditioning exersise.

Burpees are so cool- you can even do them in the SHU.

I decided I'm just going to start with 1 tomorrow, so I'll be 3 days behind.  I made an excel spreadsheet to track it.

Girls are always welcome.

Thanks much! My husband (Sparky357) and 14 yr old daughter are now in also! It's a family affair...

...and might I say... have any of you checked out the workout videos for RossTraining that someone had listed here earlier on YouTube? Holy cow that guy is in shape! I was tired watching him!

Great to see a family entry!!!

Ross is an elite level performer.

He has good form, and for me, he provides inspiration to try harder after I see him crank it out.
Just go at your own speed.

I can manage 10 sets of 10, but it takes me awhile, and it's almost a NDE.
Are we posting our times???
