I really hope you're not surprised by that.
Whether or not any sort of ban is going to happen, people panicked, which means that anybody who wants to shoot in the next 6 months needed to stock up ahead of time. It formed a feedback loop and within 24 hours of the election it was pretty much all gone. You can still find some match loads and defense loads, but you're not going to find any deals for months. |

cabelas is running a sale in the morning. $159/500 rounds. limit 2. I don't know what variety, American eagle, I think. I have 1k bullets on the way from Widener's.

Well, I picked up 1,000 rounds of American Eagle black box on sale at Gander Mountain yesterday for $349. It comes in an ammo can too. The 1K box of Remington 9mm for $200 was sold out by the time I got there. The girl there told me that they had 20 cases of it and it was gone in the first 15 minutes. Say what you want about Gander Mountain, but if you shop them right you can get some good deals there.
Plus I got some Under Armor Baby Armor for my brand new grandson. |

I used to hit the gun shows the last hour or so and buy leftover 500 round cases of Win Q3131 for $75.00 when all the SA stuff was flooding the market and the manufacturers had to compete against surplus. |
