No cracks in any of the wood , nor is there any rust or pitting.
Bluing is worn but action feels smooth
The gun is made in 1920 according to the serial number.



For those that don't know, it was Winchesters attempt to compete with the Browning A5 and Remington Model 11

Last known injury from one was 2005/06 by a sheriff in IN


It would be a wall hanger and may shoot some light low brass from it a few times

It got it's bad reputation because of the method of cocking - pulling the barrel back. Since it was a long gun, people would put the butt on the ground and push *down* on the barrel - often with it pointing at their face.

Yep, it was designed to get around the patents, that's why it would be a wall hanger/addition to my stable of weird and obsolete guns.
