Is there anyway to ship this across the border to canada with as little paperwork and as cheaply as possible?

BTT for a Canuck to verify:

No firearms parts may be sold to a non U.S. citizen as per a new U.S law, (Feb. 2002). You must now get a dealer to import any barrels, stocks, scopes as well as brass & bullets.
