My polling place serves three precincts. The line for mine was 45 minutes long. The line for the other two were no waiting. My precinct is Republican by a large majority. If this is any indication, GWB will take Ohio again.

I passed by at 7:30 this morning hoping to avoid the crowds, there was no place to park. I went back at 10:30 and waited 45 minutes. They are calling an over 70% turn out around here.

Went to vote at about 7:45 this morning, there was NO ONE in line in front of me and the GF.

Were were in and done in less than 10 minutes.

1030AM PST. Waited 5 minutes. We're using a new balloting system. Instead of poking out a hole, it uses a inked by pen not as good as the old punched card. It not too positive whether you made a mark or not, I had to double-check just to be sure that all of my marks registered on the ballot.

About 1/2 hour here. I did notice that the young folks are turning out in force. Being as how I live on the beach and we vote at the coast guard station there were some real honey's at the polling place.

No line at all here, I walked in, signed the sheet, got my ballot and marker pen, got a empty booth, voted, put the ballot in the machine, I was number 354 and wlaked out the door, 5 minutes tops....

I was out in the woods with the dogs most of the night, we slept on the mountain in the jeep till it started getting light out, went to vote, polls weren't open for another 1/2 hour, was 2 others there to vote 1st thing after they were opened. All of 10 minutes if that. But our county and area should have a strong showing.

I waited 90 minutes before I had to leave to go back to work. From counting people leaving (since I had nothing better to do!), I think it would have been another 45 minutes before I could have voted if I could have stayed. Several guys I work with reported longer lines. The reason for the long delay at the location I was voting was due to the Votetronic machines. Usually that location has three people verifying the voter and taking the signatures that feeds six mechanical machines. Today with the slower and fewer machines, they only needed one slow woman with the lists to verify voters. It was taking (as a wild-guess) five times longer to vote as compared to the previous machines.z

40 miutes the biggest line this county/township has ever seen

if the people in front of me would stop taling about their dogs, farming issues, how long they been retired, and read the instructions on the walls then it would have been 10 minutes since only 25 people where in front of me. Most got to the both then started asking questions. How does this work???

I'm in Oxford, Ohio, and voted at Talawanda high school. I waited for as long as it took to sign my name and stick my card in the slot. No line at all. Got there at about 4:30.

I voted at a elementay school, the kids were getting out early.
I did attract alot of attention wearing my flight jacket w/ all my patches and command logo on my
ball cap ("cover" in navyspeak)
I was the only voter there.
God it felt good to excercise a right that swore an oath to protect!
