Way to go Wolfpack. I took a non-shooter to the range Sunday myself, a teenage girlfriend of my daughter. It was her second time and she was hitting spinners with a .22 at about 30 yards, having a blast!

Great job. I love taking new shooters to the range. I took my buddy and his son to a range for the first time about a year ago. My buddy grew up hunting but hadn't shot in a LONG time (his wife is afraid of guns and won't allow any in the house). The kid was a natural. BTW, he recently signed up with the Marines; goes to basic in September.
This last year I also took one of my sisters and her family to shoot. She was scared to death and only shot a little. Her twin boys (age 13) loved it and even shot my 7mm Mag (about knocked them over). Now my brother-in-law wants me to help him pick out some toys. And he's got LOTS of money. Can't wait to live vicariously through him at the store. Maybe I can talk him into something a little different like an AUG. |

That's the way to do it!
I try to get as many people as I can to go shooting with me. And when at the range, anytime anybody is interested in any of my "evil" rifles I make sure they shoot it before leaving. There's nothing better than watching a dad smile as his 10 year old blasts away with an AR15. It's all about winning the hearts and minds. Good job Wolfpack. |

About the graininess, when you downsize the image, save it as a .jpg (JPEG) instead of .gif (GIF). JPEGs use many more colors, so they wont dither and look grainy like a 256 color GIF will.
Good job on geting them to shoot! I took my nephew shooting only to have him say it was alright, but not something that he would get into, and then a month later say that if Hillary ran, he would vote for her! [puke] |

I think taking non-gunners to a range for some fun and education is an EXCELLENT idea. Let's make a commitment to do that in the coming year.
