Yup, just noticed that. Even though I have it on DVD, it's still considered a major violation to not watch it anyway, every time you find it on tv.

For some reason my favorite part is near the beginning when the Huey opens up on the roadblock.  It gives me chills...as stupid as that is.

Speaking of 'documentaries' you have to watch whenever you stumble across them - Planet of the Apes is on History Ch right now.

Reminds me of the day my shipment of 8mm ammo from Century arrived.  One of the sealed tins was corroded and I was transferring the ammo to a different container.  I switched on the TV and Red Dawn was on.  So there I was, "stacking it deep," while watching Red Dawn.  It was sort of a Zen moment.

who here will admitt it, the red dawn scenario, living in the mountains with a bunch of survival gear and guns and an invading enemy to hunt and nothing to lose was an appealing situation. I know the situation would be grave for many and I wouldn't wish it on my family, but, if it did happen..... I think that's 1 reason a lot of people on this site like the movie

The music at the intro stills gives me the hibbie jibbies.

Everytime I get done watching it I think...do I have enough ammunition?
