Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Pre ban Daewoo barrel thread size?

Does anyone know if the thread size on a pre ban Daewoo is the same as an AR-15? It already has an evil flash hider, want to install an even greater evil looking vortex or phantom from BM.

I'm fairly certain it is.  I haven't had mine off to check, but if you're going to swap yours out anyway, just take it off and either try an M-16 one on there, or try screwing it onto a preban AR barrel.  I'm pretty sure you'll find that it's the same.  They made M-16s for decades, so I doubt if they really went to the trouble of changing threads.
