San Francisco from the Golden Gate Bridge
St. Louis from the top of the Arch
San Antonio from the Alamo
South Dakota from Mt Rushmore
Some of our more adventureous from the Taj Mahal, or Great Wall, or Pyramids in Egypt, or Temple at Petra, Colloseum or Vatican in Rome, Big Ben in London

ETC ETC ETC

It's a mountain with line of sight to most of the Front Range.  They put antennae on the top of many of those mountains.

I've been there before.  The cake donut I had in the rest area/gift shop thing was good, scenery was nice (or what little I saw). I didn't care so much for the light headed and nauseous feeling I got from being at that altitude.  The cog ride down was miserable.

Try Mt Evans, it's paved all the way to the top.

They ruined the hill climb when they paved most of it.

Fuck the Sierra Club.  They didn't give a shit about the supposed gravel problems, they wanted to destroy the racing tradition.

Raised in Woodland Park. Not the same town it was back in the 70's.

On our way down now.  Temp. was in the low thirties with winds around fifteen to twenty. There was very little snow on the ground, but it started to sleet while we were there. I'm on AT&t and traveling with a two year old. So no mountain climbing on this trip.
