God dammit, this completly woke me up i should have never looked! Lenovo only told me it shipped not a tracking number but i put my order number in the "search by reference" section on ups.com and it came right up, pretty nifty. Also im pretty happy since i ordered this last monday, and was told it would ship on 7/26.

It comes from china because ALL electronics are made there. Every PC component and laptop are made in china.
Most laptops ordered directly from a manufacturer are built to order. Quoted:

oh didn't know. Whenever I look on a computer part it usually says made in mexico, so i figured that's where most computers were made. lol its late
