It would be a COC violation for me to explain it in my terms.
Speaking as an American who's traveled a mighty good chunk of this planet, I don't care what the people from another country think. You need to keep your own doorstep clean and not worry about ours. |

Yeah it's not sitting well with us Americans either. It is possible that the news is just being better about reporting these incidents, but it does seem very alarming.

Its complicated. But basically the media has whipped the ignorant and easily manipulated segments of society into a frenzy. They deliberately chose to run stories on incidents where LE was justified in using lethal force- but the perp was always unarmed. This accomplished two things: Enrage blacks, and enrage whites, but for completely different reasons.

Thanks to the rhetoric being burped up in our popular media certain folks have it in their heads that breaking societies' laws is a way of life and that the people our society has charged with upholding those laws are their sworn enemy. A mentality of "get before got" starts to resonate.
While I was only a baby back then my mother talks like we are entering an era like this country experienced in the late 60s / early 70s, when rebels, fifth columnists and rabble rousers more or less declared open war on "the pigs" and were resplendent with their manifestos and socialist leanings. Given time the pendulum will swing back, one can only hope. |

Well, some Diddu Sumphins are getting froggy because all of the SJWs and our own federal government have been busy stirring up the race rhetoric and telling them they are victims and should organize. The Diddus do not fear reprisals and feel empowered.

Not an easy time for LEO'S right now that's for sure. Basically when socialism and freedom collide. |

I see and hear more shit regarding the U.S. from foreign citizens and news than I ever hear from our citizens and news about other countries. The international knitting circle seems overly concerned with what's going on here, while they ignore their own shit. Since the .gov here refuses to even address, much less condemn, this new(ish) batch of homegrown terrorists due solely to their race, we just have to wait until it either blows over or boils to the point where bullets start flying in the other direction before anything gets done. Personally, I hope the coroner needs to be called for every one of these scumbags before the cops. |

I'd be willing to bet that the gun violence hasn't changed at ALL. What has changed is the media and how they portray and cherry pick these fucking stories to drive it down our throats and push their agenda.

The dream of mutlticulturalism and diversity was/is/will continue to be an abject failure.
Not within every racial/cultural group.....but we've got some stand-outs here in the States whose continual failures over decades are the result of being "victimized" by whites, the police and society in general....or so we've been told by the left. These demographics have been convinced of this by the liberals, the media and their "leadership". The playing field has long since been leveled, by legislation and to the tune of literally trillions of dollars spent for decades, however the continued failures from coast to coast now require a scapegoat, as the truth is simply not allowed to be spoken. When every conceivable leg up has been provided, with virtually no net gains....the playing field and lack of resources can no longer be used for reasoning by anyone. What we see at this point is the high water mark for some....and it isn't very high, to put it politely. Lashing out violently and repetitively with these people in America is something akin to Obama being unwilling to even speak the words "Radical Islamic Extremists". When you can't, as a society even speak of the true problem, the problems grow more bold and more violent. This is evidenced EVERYWHERE. Violence by these people towards others as an expression of "rage" becomes so routine it's simply expected. The collateral damage to innocent people across this country, which is vast, is dwarfed by the overwhelming forces to not speak the truth. The label "racist" is a powerful one, and requires no merit what so ever to receive it, and provides fictional insulation from even initiating an honest discussion about the actual societal problems in the U.S. Until then, we'll see much more of the same. |

Lot of "cop shot" threads on GD in the last 2 days though yeah definitely... There has been a high number of cop shootings lately which is un-settling but statistically speaking, cop deaths by firearms are at an average level this year. |

As long at the left and liberal media continue to allow the hate rhetoric it will continue down this path.
People see one guy do it and get away with it it emboldens the rest. A prime example was the asshat daring cops to arrest him, they pepper sprayed him, took him down, and did what he asked. Of course the cops were the bad guys. leftist and their hoard have no respect for law, order, common decency or anything for that matter. When the rhetoric changes....the path changes. The right do no have the spine to push back so we will continue this decent. |

Nation of Islam has called for the murder of the police.
Not sure why so many cops are killing civilians and I don't think its PC to talk about it on GD |
