Merry Christmas everyone and have a happy holiday season and a very good new year. Be sure to hide all your AWs in a safe place though.
I just want to invite each and every one of you to unite with us in our stand against tyranny by joining the Constitutional Rights Enforcement & Support Team (C.R.E.S.T.)
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thecrest
We already have 109 members in just a few weeks. Lot's of lively discussion on our message board also. Come join us and share your ideas on how to make our team most effective. Make it a New Years resolution that we are not going to give up our guns and we aren't going to take any more abuse of our rights
What does it mean, to defend our constitution if we cannot defend our rights. If we don't stand up for them and for each others', who will? Our government?

People are in jail and prison now and others have been fined for simply exercising their constitutionally guaranteed rights. This must stop and we can make it happen if we unite.

1.  "The claim and exercise of a constitutional right cannot be converted into a crime.  Miller v. U.S. 230 F 486 at 489"

2.   "Where rights as secured by the Constitution are involved, there can be no rule making or legislation which will abrogate them.  Miranda v. Ariz., 384 U.S. 436 at 491 (1966)."

3.   "Since an unconstitutional law is void, the general principles follow that it imposes no duties, confers no rights, creates no office, bestows no power or authority on anyone, affords no protection and justifies no acts performed under it.  No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it.  16 Am Jur 2nd Section 177

4.   "All laws, rules and practices which are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void. Marbury v. Madison, 5th US (2 Cranch) 137, 180"

"The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."--Thomas Jefferson

Kind of hard to do when the government gets the Assault Weapons and we don't.
