i'm considering an auction listing, but all i know about it is that it's a '71 oldsmobile, and it's blue. VIN is 388601M455590, but i haven't had much luck finding info with the free VIN decoders.
any help? |

I heard Carfax isn't very trustworthy.
 Don't hold it to me, just that I read about it a while ago when I was looking for a used car. |

CARFAX will not check on a vehicle that old.
There was a member here doing free CARFAX VIN# checks at one time & I had him run the VIN# on my 1978 CJ-5. He sent me back a IM saying it was to old. |

A car that old you really need to inspect it personally and you need to know what you are looking at. Good luck
