Sorry to hear about that, my wife couldn't sleep for a couple days after some scuz bucket broke into her car and stole the CD player.

I waited the next couple of nights by the door with my P220 [pissed]

Years ago I had some idiot break into my falling apart 77 Nova, when they realized there was no radio they tried to steal the compass that the previous owner had glued to the dash, he he, the dash peeled like an orange and they didn't even get that.

I got one of those cd players with the removable face plate after that-but after about a month it became too much of hassle removing and left it on all the time.

Check the pawn shops and junkyards nearby, might be there if it wasn't fenced privately or traded for drugs-

Time for a security system, they might at least stop drunk window breakers.

Edited to add-Actually I do remember that car-nice car, but wait until you find out what a VW window can cost-I had one broken by snowblower-wow it was a lot!

Oh, I forgot-a buddy of mine bought an aftermarket radio that has some kind of code so when the radio is removed from the car it is scrambled and cannot be used again without a code from the factory to reset it-which they won't give the thief because it's registered to you.

Your radio is still gone but at least the thief gets nothing out of it.
