For just Dry rubs, Cabela's Roasted Garlic and Beer is good, and their Mesquite Chipoltle is Good as well.. a little Dillo Dust to the latter makes it Snap ;)

I am a big fan of regular ol' Montreal Chicken Seasoning. Seems to be a good blend of the traditional montreal steak, and lemon pepper.

Italian dressing, Tony's, etc are all good, but if If you have a global foods market nearby, pick up some of this Jamaican Jerk Seasoning.  Also, do not get the hot version unless you like really spicy food.

For simple "grilled chicken", nothing beats orange pepper.

Chicken breasts suck...there I said it.  Very little flavor and they tend to get dry.  I found this and it's superior to anything else I've tried for chicken breasts.

Ina Garten's Lemon Chicken marinade...

3/4 cup fresh lemon juice (4 lemons)
3/4 cup olive oil
2  teaspoons kosher salt
1  teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1  tablespoon minced fresh thyme leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1 Whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, and thyme.

2 Pour over the chicken breasts in a nonreactive bowl.

3 Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 6 hours or overnight.

Overnight is best.  Grill on high heat to get a nice char.
Simple recipe and it's fucking amazing.  It's almost impossible to screw it up and the chicken is never dry.

Not one of those store bought ones is as good as the ones I have engineered.  I've won multiple competitions, and even have a famous BBQ master using one of my rubs....

When I rub chicken breasts, I squeeze their nipples too. Makes the dish a little more zesty.

Brine the chicken breasts.    Much, much better that way...a basic sugar/salt brine then season on top before grilling.

Throw them away and get a good ribeye.

We should change the title to "Proper Breast Rubbing"

Lawry's Perfect Blend is a classic, and hard to beat. Found everywhere.
