I have the BRC poster file from ilikelegs. I have done a proof and it looks good.

How many would you like or what kinda numbers are we talking and who all would like one?

Link Posted: 5/9/2002 7:42:18 AM EDT
Which one?
Link Posted: 5/9/2002 7:44:03 AM EDT
I be interested...
Link Posted: 5/9/2002 7:48:14 AM EDT
The woodstock spoof one

Would you guys want them beforehand or at the convention as a memento? Thing is they are done on a digital color machine and won't ship unless in a full sized envelope or they will crack if folded.

Looks like they will cost around .60 cents apeice for 8.5 x 11 or 1.20 for 11x17 full color full bleed.

Link Posted: 5/9/2002 11:02:20 AM EDT
I'll take a big one, what are the sizes available?
Link Posted: 5/9/2002 11:11:52 AM EDT
It appears the 11 x 17 size is gonna be the one to go with.

I've talked with IAJack about the quality of the paper used, and at present, with the amount of red used, the paper has a tendency to curl.

I've told him to experiment with heavier (and costlier) paper to see how that might work!

We are SO LUCKY to have folks like IAJAck around here!

I say HUZZAH, HUZZAH, HUZZAH, for FrankSquid, ilikelegs, and IA Jack, for all of their hard work on this project!

Now, if I can just figure out what 'Huzzah' means....[:D]

I believe there was a Hebrew in the Old Testament named Uzzah.

Maybe all the fellows called him that!

He was the guy that was killed for touching the Ark of the Covenent.
Link Posted: 5/9/2002 11:18:48 AM EDT
I'll take a couple, either now or at the BRC.
Link Posted: 5/9/2002 11:19:00 AM EDT
How far are you from tama Jack?

Aviator
Link Posted: 5/9/2002 11:40:20 AM EDT
About 60 mi. Aviator

I have the paper issue worked out. They will be on an 80lb. cover stock, nice sturdy stuff with a bit of a gloss. suitable for framing.

I will be doing a bunch up and bringing them to the BRC for Eric the Hun. intitally I will be doing a run of 100 unless demand increases and Hun wants more.

Link Posted: 5/9/2002 11:46:26 AM EDT
Please don't forget to put Grin and I each down for one.

{EDIT} I just saw the posted prices, and would like 6 of the 11x17's for myself!
Link Posted: 5/9/2002 11:50:57 AM EDT
I also posted a thread over on the BRC Forum on these posters.

We are going with the list of sponsors, as they are now, with the notation 'And Others.'

The Poster as IAJack prints it, will also have the dates at the bottom.

Is that all right with everyone?

Anyone see any problems?

Put me down for four of them.  Two of each size or four if only one size.
Link Posted: 5/9/2002 2:27:42 PM EDT
Ya'll need to have some t-shirts made up with that logo, too.
Link Posted: 5/9/2002 2:41:19 PM EDT
I'm good for a couple at the convention.

I'll take two.  One for me and the other for my buddy who won't be able to attend.  I want to hang it in his office to remind him on a daily basis of what a great time he missed.  I can pick them up at the BRC or I'll pay for shipping and you can send them.  Let me know.  I like the t-shirt idea.
Link Posted: 5/9/2002 6:29:42 PM EDT
I am in for two of the larger size posters!

The shirt idea is also good!  I would take take a couple of them if they are done.

Link Posted: 5/10/2002 3:06:50 AM EDT
I'll be needin' two of them, please!!!  Man, I can't wait!!!!!
Link Posted: 5/10/2002 6:15:34 AM EDT
You selling these at the BRC?
I want to see how many autographs I can fit on the bigger size..
Link Posted: 5/10/2002 6:47:38 AM EDT
Ok here is the proof for the final version. I kept Ilikelegs version almost completly in tact except re-built it in 11x17. The pic here doesnt look good beacuse I had to compress it down to post it.The print version is crystal clear! The re-built version is almost 50Mb !

The proof on 80lb cover is really nice and durable and not curled.

Hun is supposed to let me know? Let me know if something needs fixed

T-shirts would be great, but only if the sponsors were printed on the back, and not the front of the shirt.

Otherwise, it might look a bit too busy...

Just be sure to change "presents" to "present".  You need a plural verb to agree with the plural subject.

Link Posted: 5/10/2002 7:47:53 AM EDT
i'll take (2) 11x17's. i'll pick themup at the brc.

thank you.
Link Posted: 5/10/2002 2:48:02 PM EDT

Link Posted: 5/11/2002 6:49:01 AM EDT
Put me down for 4 of each to pick up at the BRC

I would also buy 2- large, 1- xlarge and 1- xxlarge shirts if available.
Link Posted: 5/11/2002 10:55:31 AM EDT
I'm in for Six (6) [8D]
Link Posted: 5/11/2002 1:45:44 PM EDT
Anyone know anywhere that could whip out some T-shirts quickly?

Anyone care to undertake the task of having em done?

I'm sure I could find somewhere, but if someone had a good source or friend it would be better and I'm sure cheaper?

Link Posted: 5/12/2002 8:00:30 AM EDT
I'd like two "Big Ones."[:D] I would like to purchase them at the BRC.

An XL T shirt TOO!!
Link Posted: 5/12/2002 11:53:49 AM EDT
i would be in for buyin a big poster (cant go to the BRC)

someone with the connections to make tshirts should step up.
Link Posted: 5/12/2002 12:48:08 PM EDT
For those of us who are unable to attend the BRC, how can we get ahold of a few of those posters?

Is there a mailing addy?

(I think i've got a perfect spot above my computer desk in my den for a nice framed copy)

What a hoot.

Link Posted: 5/12/2002 1:05:33 PM EDT
