There is going to be another G3 tour this summer.  It will include Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, and a third guitarist.  It is still an "unconfirmed rumor".  But check out who Joe says it will be:

If I had to name my favorite three, this lineup would be it.  With my luck, the show probably won't make a stop within a thousand miles of me.

Speaking of John Petrucci, the Dream Theater DVD (Scenes From New York) arrived in my mailbox today.  Holy shite!  I highly recommend anyone who appreciates intelligent music to pick up a copy.
