Yeah I am with you on this one - you can carry more ammo with the M4 ( it's lighter) plus less recoil.
When those zombies attack they just keep coming - need lots of Ammo. Thanks for the timely post - Friday night is Zombie night!!!   |

16" midlength with Eotech, PVS14, and a surefire tac light. Proper bayo lug and M7 bayo for use as needed. Backup will be a 7.5" AR15 and a ton of mags. Yes I know the shorty will be ballistically weak but for contact range on the undead it should bust skulls just fine.
Lastly my 1911. I can always save the last shot.....

could the 5.56 cause enough trauma to the brain with a head shot to kill that primal zombie part of the brain? |

Whatever you get, you need to attach a masterkey with 5 ounce depleted uranum shelled incindiary slugs (with crosses carved in the tips in case a roaming troop of vampires happens to stop by).

Propane tank/ molotov cocktails and an armored bus. You can take out large numbers of zombies quickly and not have to worry about being overrun during the reloads. Just be sure there is a leash on the chainsaw so that the wackjob beside you can't cut you into sushi. Otherwise a Recce, accuracy counts and you'll need the heavier bullets during your distance plinking to keep in practice for those oh so tempting distance shots.

Yes but contrary to popular belief you must aim the thing. The illustration you have provided shows a poorly aimed shot/glancing blow to the zombie head. This is most certainly going to elicit an attack in which your head will be eaten by the zombie and his or her dinner guests.
