From the preview it looks dumb. The uber-cool matrix wirewakling/flipping/etc. crap is entirely overdone.

RE2? DIdn't that come out like six years ago?
RE4 looks and plays awesome, and no crappy fixed camera. I played it at E3. Unfortunately it got pushed back to Jan. of 05.

And it had horrible gun play. Zombies flying back 20 feet from a burst of .223 among other things. The first one sucked. Then again, it was directed by Paul Anderson. I'm not anticipating the 2nd one, but I'm sure I'll see it sometime. |

Given that the movie was based heavily on a VIDEO GAME, I have little problem with the gun handling, as the whole thing is cartoonish to a degree. I would feel very differently if it were a movie that intended to be realistic (something like Heat or Saving Private Ryan).
Will this be a great movie? No way, we all know that. This is a pure "show me what you can do" action/special effects movie with hot babes & guns. Oh, and BTW, Milla...    -Troy |

Going to go see it most definately. However, it will probably suck since the previews on tv show WAY too much of the first movie. I'll still waste my money to see a night show.

I just went to the site, the teaser trailer rocks. And it makes tons of sense for Alice to be Matrix-Amped, consider who she used to work for.
And Milla is just so damn hot! (Note the "R" rating promises nudity!) |

YEAH.....zombies is the sh*t.....but if they're able to move as fast as the zombies in "28days" it's too scary....I won't be able to fend them off quick enough---unless I had the laser gun in CONGO or ERASER. NO NEED TO RELOAD
