Hopefully this is not a dupe , Happened in Dayton (Go figure).
Long story short, two guys start beating on a guy at a gas station late at night, he shoots one of the guys in the stomach twice. Whole thing is caught on video, police are on the side of the shooter (Ohio does have castle doctrine which also protects a vehicle). The unshot perp hints at reprisals for shooter. Video of incident  *** Updates *** Shooter has posted his comments here Shooter's firearm was a G36 (.45) first round appears to have been a FMJ while the second was a Pow'r ball. Perp's accomplice has made further threats to the shooter, thankfully ARFCOM has screenshots of said comments via facebook. |

That was "closer quarters" than I would have been comfortable with with the initiating individual. The other guy came in at what appears to be a pre-determined point, and overall better situational awareness may have been put to use, but I wasn't there.
Glad it's worked out for the defender as well as it has. |
