if i looked out my car window, and some asshole was pointing a ar-15 at me from another vehicle, id open up with my ccw thru the window.....kid was lucky he was not shot in the face.

Can anyone say anything definate on the legality of
A) Ramming the vehicle in the side, to stop the threat B) Firing at the vehicle to stop the threat Im being serious here, because it would depend on what I was driving. First reaction if in the Jeep would be RAM IT, if in the Civic it would be SHOOT Im almost worried that I would react before I knew what had happened. Something about guns pointed at me triggers a response other than "dial 911" ETA: Different scenario, but a while back on my commute to work (in the Jeep) a guy pulled along side me, and stares me down, like stink eye supreme style. I look over, and he grabs the wheel and slams into my front tire/fender area. I hear the wrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr wrrrrrrrrrrrr from the treadblocks hit his car, and he bounces off and looks back over like  because I didnt move. I felt threatened but only held my ground (G30 on board and in hand). I never stopped. He continued on ahead of me. Weird

Years ago I had a fifteen year old boy come in the 7-11 I clerked at. He had a toy gun as a joke.
Ha Ha. Mine was real. He complied and his muzzle never cleared his coat. Had he not complied or the muzzle cleared his coat. I hate to think that I would killed him, but he would have been DRT. |
