They also said (as in spoke) that the 45 has FOUR TIMES the power of the 9mm

Was it new tonight? I hope my DVR is still set up to record new episodes.

These are the same writers who say a Garand is an assault rifle.
Ban teh .45+pPpPpPpPpP for the children satellites. |

They kept showing a clip of the movie where the guy is holding what looks like a Taurus PT92 in nickel, and kept calling it a Glock..
Not to mention the entire segment was if a bullet could turn a merry go round

Major butterface.

Yea, I just posted on the fan site about it. Hard to believe that went to air without being caught.

Well, I guess we know .45 is better than 9mm now...
.45 appears to be impossibly powerful. |

lol, my little lightweight 1911 beats my hand up pretty well with +p, I can't imagine what 2k foot pound loads would feel like from it. Hell, I might even go back to carrying the all steel full size and give up on one handed shooting. I think my range would get pissy about me shooting the steels too, but maybe I could just use it on the rifle range's plates instead.

The thing that bothered me was Grant flipping the cylinder shut on the .44.
I said it out loud, "Aww, don't do that. People are going to see it and then bend the cranes on their revolvers." My wife said, "Shut up." Kari distracted me so I didn't notice the numbers. ![]() |

While the muzzle energy isn't quite right, you can get ammo that will exceed 2000fps in a 1911....
Magsafe "SWAT" Rounds and their Muzzle Velocities. .45ACP68gr 2260fps |

I used my 1911 to sink a soviet submarine once.

They got the 9mm numbers wrong too. You can't get 1300fps without being +P (lightweight bullet, 95gr maaaaybe 115) or +P+. My XD 5" kicked like a sonofagun when I was testing loads from a manual and had bad info...147gr moving at 1150fps. THAT will wake your ass up!

Not looking at her face and honestly the only views I wanna see with her around me is the top of her and the back of her head.

I wonder how many science nerds jizzed their pants when she lubed up the merry go round......

going off wikipedia those numbers are close to being correct for the .454 casull

i cant agree with the butter face comments but there are alot of women i would rather do,
chicks that act stupid dont get me off exactly. |

I want her (did you see her stroking that shaft? lol). and one of those 2000ftlb .45s!

I think the energy numbers for the 12 guage slugs were wrong as well.

Meh they always fuck up firearms stuff.
My personal fav was when they had the guy from Murray's Guns explain why the SKS would fire if it was shaken really hard by a speaker. Rather than talking about sear engagement he went on a rant about the free floating firing pin jambing in the channel and going full auto. Surprise surprise....he's the guy that sells modded spring loaded SKS firing pins. So he just gave himself a free commercial that had absolutely no relevance to the topic. And to top it off you have to listen to them talk about the free floating firing pin, as if they're now authorities on the subject, for the rest of the episode. |

Highlighted it for you, its late at night..I'd have missed it too. ![]() I only did 15 sec of google searching...The only numbers approaching 1300 were 124gr +P+, and the chart I saw didnt have numbers for 115gr +P. *Took another 30sec to look at a few charts* Corbon has a 115gr +P that gets over 1300, but that was the only one I saw. But I haven't reviewed all charts... I'm not willing to test fire a 2000fps .45acp though. No sir...that would be akin to a .30-06 out of a T/C Contender. |

This may be trivial but what kept pissing me off was watching an older episode where the walrus guy put a round into the chamber of a 1911 and slamming the slide home. I just kept thinking "I hope your extractor snaps like a twig you dumbshit."

Kari is Fine, but I doubt she gives head. She's a vegetarian and wont eat meat.
