When I was short on funds, I ALWAYS paid my bills first. I didn't have any luxuries like that. I had a hand-me-down old TV and stereo. Neither were anything great. To this day I don't buy stuff like that on credit, and certainly not before my other obligations. That makes me sick.

You'd be surprised how many examples of this there are. My church was doing a community help project and we were in the local projects helping people move old stuff out of their houses/clean. Many, many people have nice ass televisions, refrigerators, stoves, ovens, washing machines, and drive extremely nice cars. Albeit, most of them live in tiny houses that LOOK like crap from the outside (to keep suspicion down, maybe?). It really pisses you off when you see them in the local grocery store with food stamps or getting other benefits that they so desperately "need".

Her TV is twice as big as mine, and I earned every penny to pay for mine as well as part of hers and a million others. Oh yeah, I pay my own electric bill because I don't spend my entire day planted in front of a 60" goddamned TV.
These social welfare leeches should be lined up against a wall and given a sweet lollipop in the flavor of their choice (in addition to a stern talking to (not too stern, though. can't be hurting anyone's sensitive feelings.)).

you have time to stand for four hours.. not just you but THREE of yous ?

then you have time for a job.. or a part time.

thats 12 hours.. wasted between the three of em .

9 an hour *12= 108 bucks wasted time right there alone.
thats 432 bucks extra a month.. if they each only worked an extra 4 hours a week.

hell if you went to work you would not have to heat your " one room " all day.. just when your home.

I'm in the projects every day. Not only does every apartment have a flat screen tv, they have one in every room. Not to mention laptop computers, ipods, dvd players, multiple cell phones, expensive clothes and shoes. And there's usually a Cadillac out front.
