FWIW is had 3 e-mails before John11167 even posted. He never said that he would make payment after seeing pics. He only asked if I accepted paypal, which by the way I do not and said as much in my initial post. ("USPS money order or cash ONLY") I never got an "I'll take it" or anything even close to an unconditional buy. I certainly never said "it's yours" or anything that could've been construed as such. Just asking for pics is certainly not an "I'll take it" and answering questions is not an "it's yours". Anyone who has bought or sold anything on this or any other forum should know that. I debated posting this because I think the matter is closed, but felt I should respond to this unwarranted attack.
Yes this matter is closed, folks see how you do business in a very poor way.
This wasn't an attack but a notice that you do not have any common courtesy and
update others as you should when posting on this forum. How about you update
your post so others know what is going on rather then leaving someone hanging
when they reply to your ad ?? No..that would not be the logical or considerate thing for you to do.
That's called common courtesy !
You never informed me that there were others in line when I made my query. If you did so then I would have not gone through my efforts to secure the sale and this post would not have occurred.
I have bought and sold many things on this forum, I treat everyone with respect and keep them well informed. I do not waste others time and efforts on a sale only to be told later...uuhhh I sold it to someone else to bad you went through the efforts but I dont keep perspective buyers updated..it puts me out to much and I dont care..
That is the wrong attitude, that's my point, and it's made !
No big deal on the rifle, I found another one and a better deal over all. It's not that I didn't get the rifle you had it's the principle from my perspective and how you didn't handle the deal properly to start with.
Rant out !
