First off, I am sorry to the buyer if he thought I mislead him.
That was not my intention.
I stand by my feedback and I have sold high dollar items here in arfcom like this upper:
I am sitting in the business center of my hotel trying to protect my feedback in the middle of a vacation.
Now that being said, I was originally trying to sell the complete upper.
Buyer asked to part it.
I agreed to part it out , but in no way did i feel like the upper had any mechanical problems.
it has been shot suppressed, un suppressed with no issues.
lets get to the problems.
> The Discoloration on the barrel is not rust.
but left over camo paint from stripping it.
this was the upper before:
after applying paint strip to sell it:
granted I never took off the rail to strip under it, since I thought i was selling the entire thing.
after taking the rail off, i did think for a second to clean it up,
but time was a constraint and i didnt have a chance to strip the rest of the paint OR paint the FSP.
this leads me to the next topic
> The Chopped FSP.
I am no master craftsman, But I did use a dremel to chopp the fsp down myself.
i could have taken more time to make it a prettier cleaner cut, but it was a spare, and it was going under a rail
so i left it be. I did paint it black to make it look better. but the stripper took the black paint off.
Again, I reiterate, the upper functions great, suppressed, un suppresed. bad ammo, good ammo, it ate it all.
Could I have cleaned it up better and reworked/ painted the fsp?
maybe yes and we would not have this thread.
but all in all, i sold a functioning upper for a price we agreed on.
but in no way i thought all these things were going to be an issue.
