Don't get excited, I'm not trading
Just wanted to tell ya I did install the DSA folder kit, and it did cost alot and it is fantastic! I had a green X Series on an SA58, and I find the para stock eaisier on my cheek (with nylon/neoprene rest). It is solid, folds up short, and looks killer.
I also had to buy a new top cover, the DSA Para Extreme Duty Scope Mount to still have a rail.
A 'para' top cover is different than a standard cover, rail or not.
Another $100 :-P
You have to use a new 'para' bolt carrier (in the kit) but it did not affect headspace.
I bought guages too just to be sure, $60ish :-P
I found no difference in recoil, but I am also posting tonight I can't tell the differnece with an Enidine Hydraulic buffer in my AR.
Get the 'Para' Cheek Rest DSA sells too if you do it. Once you pony up for the kit and Pic cover whats another $40 for blissful squishy comfort! (FAL's are hard on my cheek bone using irons, optic are much better).
Hope you get a trade!
I'll be here if you decide to convert and run into any unexpecteums.
