WTS: Bushmaster XM15 E2S
Here is a pic of the exact rifle from the Bushmaster site.
Rifle comes with factory case, Bushmaster 20 round mag, sling, manual - everything I got when I bought it.
I bolted a pict rail to the underside of the handguard and installed a cheap vert grip. I wanted to try the combo first before buying more expensive gear. Thing works fine, but it does wobble a bit. I just reinstalled these for the sale.
Also installed is a single point sling adapter plate. It looks and mounts just like this one, but the hole is round, not rectangular. I use an HK-style snap hook for attachment.
I thought it was GG&G brand, but I can’t find it on the website. I purchased it from Brownell’s.
The rifle is in good condition, probably better than that. I just don’t have an eye for those terms. MLGS guy was a little surprised at the price vs. condition ratio. (Meaning I should ask more)
It has been carried many, many hours on local ranches, carried while climbing fences, been rained on, and has a few scratches from brush. It has been very well maintained - there is no rust anywhere. It is not anywhere near a beat to shit POS, but if you want a safe queen, move on.
It has less than 2500 rounds through it.
It has had one SA battle pack shot through it. All the rest was Q3131A or Q3131 (IIRC that is what that Wally World white box stuff was). Wolf has never touched, nor ever will, one of my firearms.
It has only had two malfs since I bought it in June 2002. This was during a Texas Tactical 3 Gun Match. I finally figured out that one mag had cracked feed lips. I removed the mag from circulation, and have never had a malf of any sort.
I would trust my life to this weapon.
Here’s the deal:
I didn’t plan on posting this here, so the rifle is on consignment at MLGS.
The price is $400.00 if you pick it up, $425 shipped. Price is not negotiable. Offers to trade are welcome. Nothing comes to mind right now, but offer away if you want.
You can call Ho Guns Sporting at 210.521.2288 to verify the weapon is there, and its condition.
His shop is in San Antonio, on Culebra (south side of the road), just outside of 410. I will meet you there if you want.
Be advised: if for some reason you call information to get the number for Ho Guns Sporting, ask for “Ho Guns Sporting ” and not “Ho Guns.” I’ve had the operator hang up on me twice in the last 4 years when I tried that.
