I've got an old Turkish Mauser that I cut down to around 17". The upper handguard has been shortened and the barrel band with the front sling swivel is there. The front sight has been remounted and a flash hider has been silver soldered on. Rear sight was replaced with a M-1 Carbine peep sight adjustable for windage and elevation. Bore is frosted, but smooth, it should still shoot decent with the ammo I have. Not a tack driver, but a great truck/trunk gun! Rifle is solid, and works fine, just ugly, and I haven't shot it in probably three or four years. Want to pass it on to someone who will enjoy it more than I currently am.
Approximately 400 rounds of WWII era ammo with it. Almost all on stripper clips. Ammo is Turkis in origin so it's matched up well with the rifle. All of the ammo I've shot has worked great. Brass case with a silver looking jacket. Has been stored in teh garage in a good, .50 cal ammo can.
Because of the ammo, I'd like to keep it FTF in central Indiana/Indianapolis area, but will ship. I'd like $
$125 out of it. Check out the price of 8mm ammo and you'll see this is a great plinker deal! Please post here or email me with any questions. Will ship with buyer paying freight on ammo and rifle.
