All these either came with a Kimber when purchased, or were bought from Kimber at a later time.
Description of each mag:
1. 8 rounds, black, has "Kimber" stamped on the standard base plate.
2. 8 rounds, black, has no markings, standard base plate - appears exactly the same manuf as #1.
3. 8 rounds, black, has "Shooting Star" stamped on the follower, has after market 1/2" baseplate screwed on - marked "J&J" purchased from Kimber.
4. 8 rounds, black, has "Patented..." stamped on the follower, has after market 1/2" baseplate screwed on - marked "J&J" purchased from Kimber.
There are no dents or cracks. They are not brand new, but they are not beat up either.
Note: Mags #1 and #2 have the exact same shaped followers. Mags #3 and #4 have the exact same shaped followers.
Mags #1 and #2 have some issues. Sometimes, the follower hangs up on the front of the mag when loading the first round. I spoke with Kimber a few years ago, and they acknowledged the prob and said they had since changed the followers.
This 'problem' isn't that big of an issue - and only happens sometimes. Sometimes, you need to slide the follower back - once the first round is in, it's not a problem.
I imagine those followers can be replaced - but I don't use these mags.
These mags are 100% reliable during firing - I shot 24 rounds out of each mag last weekend without a problem.
I probably won't take the time to clean them before shipment.
These mags have the normal marks from dropping them on the ground during reload. I have probably used each mag 12 times or so - during the time I was deciding to stick with a 1911 or change to some other model.
I accept money order or cash. If you get the mags and for whatever reason do not want them, return them to me within 5 days in the same condition that you received them and I will refund your money. You'll just have to pay the shipping back to me.
