Ban his ass. Permanently.
The Jacer39 account has been locked since May 6.
Not here to offend or defend Mike but to hopefully clear the waters. He's had three accounts now (that I know of) and all three have been locked. I did find one of his Jacer ads that he replied with an I'll take it from his MrMik3 account. Was he padding his accounts with positive feedback? Don't know but can assume yes. I don't think he was even allowed access to respond here. I'm pretty sure it was a complete ban on both the Jacer and MrMik3 accounts. He welched on me once under his original name and started a second time but made good. I found out later, just before this incident that he was back under MrMik3 and I had already conducted a buy from him with great success. He and I maintained contact through email which is why I stepped up and was playing third party relay in this.
I don't think Mike ever screwed anyone in a sale. At least not that I have found. Buying, I'd have to say most definately. He buys on various sites and resells. He's doing this to support his family (wife passed away and has three young children, the youngest with severe dissabilities and medical problems). Bless his soul for what he's been through (and for those that don't know me, that's the first time those words have ever escaped my lips, or in this case, the keyboard). Everything I know about Mike I've been able to verify through the internet with some searches here and there.
As for the "stolen" Aimpoints, did anyone ever run the serials to see if they were? They were military contract serial numbers but that does not mean stolen. I won't buy military serial numbered Aimpoints due to the possible legal issues and hassels surrounding them, but if all of them that I see on the internet are stolen then what are our troops in Iraq or Afghanistan using? We see them daily.
Does he still need to be banned? Yes, without a doubt. Is he a bad guy? I'd have to say no. Stretched too far and too thin in too many areas and not taking the time to step back, take a breath and get a firm grip on things, but nbot a bad guy. We're quick to judge but judgement should be passed after all knowledge of the situation is known. And I'm sure I don't have all the knowledge either. And never will. Just my $0.02 from my pedestal on my soap box.
