I am probably going to get it from some people for doing this, but this is how it is. (And since the new EE is quickly taking over, this feedback might not even count shortly anyways.)
But I am giving a big -1
Yes, he has an absurd amount of positive feedbacks. How he got them I do not know.
I bought a BCM BCG from him....as posted here
. $175 shipped.
I sent payment the same day I agreed to buy. A week and a half later, I sent a follow up IM asking if it was sent. He replied he was sick, and then proceeded to send it the next day. (sounds more like it slipped his mind)
It shows up, and I open it to see a BCG that looks nothing like the one on BCMs website, and it does not appear to be new either. So I post pictures in here
, in the BCM industry forum, and send an email with the pictures directly to Bravo Co.
As you can see in the posting, Bravo Co states that no part of that BCG is a legitimate BCM product.
IM is sent to JD42 asking for a refund. Emails are exchanged with Bravo. Bravo Co further proceeds to inform me:
There is nothing BCM about any of those pics or description. The BCM (Bravo
Co MFG) product is completely different.
Bravo Co USA also sells CMT and LMT BCGs. If the seller said it was sold by
Bravo, I don't even think that could be correct, because it does not look
like a BCG made by CMT or LMT either.
JD42 replies stating that he did get it from Bravo Co, but that if I want a full refund to send it back in the same condition I received it in. I send it back immediately.
The check for my refund arrives. $174. I am not even going to bother with asking for that extra dollor that I was shorted, but who does he think he is shorting me even a penny on my refund when I was given a bogus product, AFTER I posted that I would take IF it was the same thing as in the link, it didn't even look new at all, WAY too many wear marks, and then I still had to pay to return it to him. Shorting me a dollar is just cheap and pathedic. If anything I should have had my return shipping covered because of false advertising. And that doesn't even begin to cover the fact I was out $175 for almost a month while dealing with this.
And on top of this, during my ordeal I exchanged IMs with another member who said he had a terrible dealing with him, but left positive feedback because he got a refund. His problem? He bought something that was "new", and what showed up was anything but new.
So to JD42, this is your negative feedback. I am sorry to be the one who had to tarnish your well over 400 positives, but you cannot do this and get away with it by just giving a refund if someone is smart enough to know what they paid for....and its not like I even got a full refund.
