Winchester M70 Classic Featherweight Pre-64 Action 30-06, Excellent Condition
Winchester M70 Classic Featherweight, Pre-64 Action, 30-06, Wood Stock, Blue, with a Leupold VariX II 3X9 40mm scope in Leupold rings and a padded nylon case. Excellent condition, only two range days on the rifle. Smith worked the trigger. I bought it new about 7 years ago, I zeroed the scope and stored it. Changed jobs and life got busy and I haven’t taken the time and money to go hunting. Took it out 2 weeks ago and the zero is still on the money. I also shot just under 1-inch groups with about six different brands of 150 gr and 165 gr ammo. We’ve finally gotten permission to carry AR-15’s on patrol, so I’m going to put the money into a rifle I can carry the nights I’m on patrol. $725 shipped to your FFL. $700 FTF in DFW area.
I would be interested in a trade deal on a Colt, Rock River or Bushmaster (only brands allowed) AR-15, 16” barrel with suppresser, Collapsible stock, flat top (I plan to mount an EOTech 512 – though I’m still wondering about a Leupold CQT).
Added Note: It is the "classic" model, where Winchester started making the old claw-extractor (pre-64) action again. This is not a pre-1964 rifle. Still a great rifle though!
Sold, I have a buyer. I let everyone know how it all works out.
