This gun is FINALLY in tip top working condition (been to the factory twice and had a new barrel installed very recently), it was one of the early problematic ones, but now it runs perfectly. Basically, when I first bought it from the store, the safety would flip on and off every shot, so back it went to the factory. I got it back, only this time, the safety would flip on/ off once or twice a magazine. Sent it back again, and this time when I got it back it cycled perfectly. I shot it a bit, and noticed I wasn't hitting anything I was aiming at with it, even had the local gunsmith shoot it. Ended up inspecting the barrel only to find there was NO CHAMBER in the original barrel, only a forcing cone. Contacted S&W yet again, and received a brand new barrel for it, which has been much better in the accuracy department. I probably have around 500 rounds through it total, with 50 or so through the new barrel.
I know that's a lot to post for a WTT and some might think that's not going to help move my gun any better, but with some guns that have known problems I'd rather have a gun that's been fixed than a new gun that may or may not have problems.
Looking ONLY for a Ruger LCP.
Will post pics later.
