I have a minty Colt Preban Sporter Lightweight R6530 SER # SL 011XXX in very good shape. It is an A2 lower with the large hole front and large pin fire control parts. It has an after market 1 position collapsible stock assembly that was converted to a 2 position. If you do not want the collapsible stock I will put the fixed stock back on it. The upper is an A2 with a 16" barrel marked C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7 it has the A2 flash hider and no bayo lug. This is an all original Colt marked rifle and does have the Colt marked sear block in the lower receiver. The single pin that holds it in place can be seen on the right sides of the lower. It has a low round count though it and the finish does have some handling marks but rifle is in over all very nice shape.
I would like to put a LEO Colt AR6520 Gov't Carbines or a Colt LEO AR6721 into my collection so if there is anyone in the states that the ban will not end and have one of these who would like to trade for a preban let me know. This can only happen if the AWB goes away on 9-13 so I can legally own one of them on 9-14. If anyone wants to preorder one and have it sent to me after the ban that would work also. I would have to receive it first though before I would send mine out since they may be hard to get by then. Here is Colts web sight of the ones I'm looking at. http://www.colt.com/law/ar15a2.asp and http://www.colt.com/law/ar15a3.asp
I don't check IM's very often so if interested please email me at email@example.comNOSPAM please remove the NOSPAM and we can work out the details.
I would be interested in other Colt LEO rifles but the 6520 Gov't Carbines and the Colt LEO AR6721 would be my first choice.
You can check my Ebay feedback under this name if you would like some references. This would be a word of honor type deal and would tie up my rifle so please be positive this is some thing you want do.
Please don't tell me about how preban lowers are going to be a dime a dozen after the AW ban ends and that I should just trade lowers with someone. Why would I want to destroy an original correct Colt by breaking apart the lower and upper.
I will sell the complete gun for $1100.
Thanks for looking TAN4Y
