I have a gun that I recently had built.
Preban lower just built at OLY Arms WA. (I sent my old wore out lower so they hacked it up and threw my numbers on a new forged lower) The upper is a Bushmaster Patrolman's carbine with M-4 profile, birdcage flash suppressor, and bayonet lug. I had Oly do a trigger job to the new lower and had all new pins, springs and everything put in new. Oh yeah, I put a Rock River six position collapsible poly stock with a metal carbine buffer also. Shot 2 boxes (40rd) of Winchester 55gn BT ammo. Fun gun but I have a new Preban Colt and three 5.56 AR's in my safe is enough...looking to update to a 308. This is a tight gun. I've never before had a lower to upper fit like this from the factory. No shakes or shimmys. Here's where I'm going. I want a Springfield M1A with Stainless match grade barrel or I will even consider a Armalite Ar-10. Gimme a jingle via email.
Edit#1 For those wanting proof of Pre-ban config.
Frankford Arsenal (Olympic arms Mfg)
All are pre-ban. Olympic Arms produced the lowers for Frankford Arsenal and then Frankford assembled the weapon. A2 configuration lower. Frankford Arsenal went out of business in 1987.
