Looking to get out of the SBR game and get into long range shooting. Interested in heavy barrel .308's, but might trade for other guns (Ar-15, Ar-10, bolt rifles). Also interested in swapping uppers for a 5.56 SBR or standard 16 inch carbine upper with cash to boot. Willing to part with just the upper, the upper with the Leupold Rifleman 4-12x40mm, or the entire setup (all NFA rules apply, transfers on a form 4).
Cash price is $1100 for everything & buyer pays transfer fees
$1000 without scope
$725 for upper only, rear sight and 2 mags shipped
$800 for upper, rear sight, 2 mags and around 100 rounds of SSA factory loaded ammo
This was a factory built SBR, so no additional engraving was done. It was converted over from 5.56 to 6.8 SPC. This rifle will chrono around 2900 FPS with 85 grain SSA commercial
loads and cycles perfectly. At 100 yards will mushroom out to 0.58 inch and penetrate over 18 inches of water. SSA 85 grain TSX tactical
pushs around 2,985 FPS but will not cycle the action unless you want to open the gas port. 100 grain Accubond chrono'ed at 2555 FPS.
-416 grade Stainless White Oak 12 inch stainless barrel, bead blasted, 1:11 twist, Spec 2 chamber
-Sabre Defense marked upper with t-marks (and Sabre Defense lower for the right deal)
-Troy Industries MRF carbine length rail
-YHM flip up front and rear sights, green rail covers and forward grip with storage
-Two 6.8 magazines and around 100 rounds total (SSA 85 grain TSX and SSA 100 grain Accubond)
Round count on the barrel and bolt is 62, all of which was factory loaded SSA ammo. All NFA rules apply, only for use on a registered SBR or Ar-pistol.
