I have a Remington 7400 Factory Carbine(18.5" barrel)and a SKS-D(uses detachable AK Mags) to trade for an AR of equal value.
The Remington Is nearly new and in excellent condition. I used it only once to harvest a 10 buck. It has a couple very small hardly noticable surface scratches on the stock. I have seen lots of new rifles that were not nearly as nice as this one. It has an engraved reciever with rams on one side and elk on the other side and an 18.5" barrel. I paid 518.00 for it. I have added a 7400 sling swivel kit and will include a fancy leather sling with deer on it and a weaver type scope base.
The SKS looks pretty cool at first glance but kinda shoddy upon closer inspection. I took it as an extra on a trade and have never fired it. It has a black wrinkle painted wooden thumbhole stock. It has what appears to be a baked on dark grey parkerising paint on all metal surfaces. Both sights have been REMOVED and it has a welded on muzzlebreak(AK-74 I think). These SKS-D's are kinda rare so it should be worth at least 250.00. It comes with a receiver cover scope mount, 1 30 round and 2 5 round AK mags. The mags are also dark grey.
I would prefer to trade with someone within a couple of hundred miles(I'm in NE Oklahoma) so we could inspect the items and trade but will consider other trades. I have at least 800.00 in this stuff. I will pay any difference in the values if it is fair. Thanks--Allen
