I’m selling my Browning BLR .308 with a Tasco World Class compact scope. This is an early first model BLR according to the serial # it was made in 1974. The gun is in excellent shape for its age. The bluing would rate as NRA EXCELLENT: New condition, used but little, bluing perfect, (except at muzzle or sharp edges)., and the wood rates as NRA VERY GOOD (or better): In perfect working condition, no appreciable wear on working surfaces, only minor surface dents or scratches.
This is a nice gun that functions & shoots great, it has a 4 rnd detachable mag. I currently have a thin plastic butt plate on it, because I wanted a shorter length of pull, but it comes with the original brown rubber Browning recoil pad that is stamped “Browning”, & it looks like new. It also comes with the original plug screws for the receiver, if you wanted to take off the scope bases & go with open sights. It also comes with the original forearm bushing that I replaced with one that has a sling stud on it. The scope is a rubber coated Tasco compact 2-8 X 32, it’s a nice fit for this gun. It is water/fog/shock proof, 10.5” long, 4” eye relief, lifetime warranty, this isn’t a Leupold, but it’s not a crappy $20 scope.
I have quite a few closer pictures of different angles that I can e-mail to you if your serious about buying, but to save pic loading time I’ll only post a few here.
I’m asking $495 shipped or $475 FTF (In or close to Albany, Oregon)SOLD SOLD SOLD
