Upgraded to a 980 Ti, so my 970 is surplus to my needs.
This is a 970-launch Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 factory-overclocked video card so I've run it for about a year. It does not use the reference cooler, but instead a Gigabyte Windforce cooling system with an improved heatsink and three fans. It's pretty quiet for a high performance video card. Usually able to play at max settings on my 2560x1440 monitor.
The system it was in sat on top of a desk in a pet-free, smoke-free, and dust-free room. I never pushed it beyond the factory specifications. Ready to drop into your computer and blow some games away.
It's a pretty long card, check the specifications and your motherboard/case to make sure you have clearance for the card. It's about 13.5" long. It also needs double-slot clearance from the PCIE slot and one 6-pin and one 8-pin power. Gigabyte recommends 550w min for the host power supply. Has two dual-link DVI ports (1 -I, 1 -D), one HDMI, and three DisplayPort ports.
Check out the specifics here:
I paid around $380 new, they run $320 on Amazon right now. I'd like to get $270 shipped.
Also selling my old Galaxy GeForce GTX 670. The 970 replaced this card, so it's been sitting in an electrostatic bag since October 2014. Lived in the same pet-free, smoke-free home, the computer that hosted it did sit on the floor so it is a little dustier but not excessive.
It uses two 6-pin power connections. Also a double-slot card. 2 GB memory. Not a top of the line card anymore but still pretty powerful. Has two dual-link DVI ports (1 -I, 1 -D), one HDMI, and one DisplayPort 1.2 port.
I dropped it into my spare computer last night and checked that it still POSTs, and included a pic of the bios.
Full specifics here:
I'd like to get $110 shipped for the 670.
I always entertain the possibility of trades! I'm looking to close out some projects so there are a variety of things I'm looking for right now. Low/no EE feedback means you'll need to ship and I receive your item first but with good feedback we can cross ship. I can add cash if your item is higher valued than mine or I'll take additional cash my item is higher valued. Current interests:
Shipping via USPS Priority (2-3 days) with full insurance is included in my pricing!

If you prefer another carrier or want Express (for next day delivery), I can do that too, but it'll be at actual cost. I try to ship the next business day after I get your payment so you have your new item as quickly as possible!
Preferred payment via Money Orders or Cashier's Checks, please. I'll take Walmart, USPS, or verifiable bank-issued ones. If you are a member in good standing with positive EE feedback, I will do a personal check as long as you don't mind waiting for it to clear which could take up to two weeks. If it bounces, you are responsible for any fees I incur. However, no Western Union, no Moneygram, no Paypal.
First "I'll take it" by timestamp (through IM, email, or post) from a qualified buyer will get the item specified when multiple parties are interested in the same item. I don't ship prohibited items to ban states or perform ban state modifications to perfectly good parts. Know your local laws!
If your join date was recent and you have no or extremely low EE feedback, you're going to need to communicate with me before you post the "I'll take it" to clear the transaction. I've had several new low-post-count buyers welch on me this year, so I will initiate negative feedback, the dreaded -1, for anyone that does it from now on.
Feel free to IM or email me any questions you might have!
Thanks for looking!
